A November Garden Wedding in Middleburg

The color palette for the late-fall affair included pinks, peach, light green, and white.

Allison, who works in medical device sales, and Stephen, a consultant, met as students at Virginia Commonwealth University. He was immediately taken by the way she lit up the room, and eventually won her over with the mixtape-style CDs he made for her. Eighteen months after they started dating, Stephen proposed before a dinner at The Inn at Little Washington—a proposal followed up with another surprise: a celebratory stay on the property.

For their intimate, classic, sophisticated, garden-themed wedding in Middleburg, the pair chose a soft color palette of pinks, peach, light green, and white. Allison’s favorite detail of the November day was the invitation suite, which she says she worked with the designer to create as a nod to the “magical” venue itself; Stephen’s favorite part was the band. Following the big day, the newlyweds honeymooned in Paris. See the photos of the wedding below.
