Four years after Bridget, a marketing professional from California, and Brett, who works in cybersecurity and is from New York, met on a dating app, Brett proposed on a hike through Sky Meadows State Park. Afterwards, they celebrated over cider at Cobber Mountain.
As a nod to their love of the outdoors, the couple chose an outdoor ceremony in the garden, and eucalyptus green as the primary color in their design—pops of peach were the accent. Special details included two large Fathead printouts of their cats, which were passed around the dance floor along with glow sticks; surprise espresso martinis on the dance floor; an earl grey signature cocktail as a nod to Bridget’s favorite; and Crumbl cookies for dessert. Two special sartorial touches included the hair piece that Bridget repurposed from her mom’s veil for her own wedding-day look, and dinosaur cufflinks that Brett says were a fun and personal detail for his tux. The couple DIYed some of their design details, including the seating chart, and some of the day-of signage. After the big day, they honeymooned in Italy, visiting Venice, Dolomites, Rome, and Positano. See the photos of the wedding below.
