years, with offerings from such local breweries as DC Brau, Chocolate
City, and 3 Stars suddenly ubiquitous at bars that once offered only the
big boys. At the center of this scene is suds expert Greg Engert, who
stocks this baroque beer hall—anchored by a long bar and flanked by
gold-velvet banquettes—with 500-plus bottles and regularly taps
