This Adams Morgan space has a pedigree: Most recently it housed the final location of Miss Pixie’s, and before that it was the secondhand-furniture store 1830 Vintage. That legacy continues with Vanessa Pius’s shop, which features costume jewelry, framed taxidermied insects, retro Pyrex, and other unusual stuff from ten vendors.

Owners Libby Rasmussen (Libby & My) and Rajni Rao (Jungli Vintage) converted a former bank in the Union Market neighborhood into a neon-green-and-cobalt-blue vintage emporium. The shop is stocked with clothing, accessories, and home decor from 18 vendors, and some items go back to the 1910s.
Closed Caption/With Love Studios
Two stores share one Old Town building. On the first floor, Erika Astrid curates archival designer finds for Closed Caption. Upstairs, make an appointment at With Love Studios for founder Erica Hewins’s collection of ethereal vintage bridal fashion.
