The Washington DC area has the highest percentage of women in executive positions when compared to any other major city in the country. For the past thirty years, Washingtonian has named the Most Powerful Women in the Washington area who represent nearly every professional sector. Hailing from government, media, medicine, business, law, arts, education, philanthropy, and community service, these women are leading the charge on creating lasting change throughout the world.
On Tuesday, October 20th, Washingtonian brought together some of the region’s most influential women for an evening celebrating their accomplishments across these sectors. Honorees and guests connected over cocktails, delicious bites, and music, enjoying an evening of celebration and conversation. Attendees also had the opportunity to capture the moment with personalized keepsake photos at the signature Washingtonian faux cover station.
Washingtonian President and CEO Cathy Merrill along with PWC’s Managing Partner Jeanelle Johnson welcomed guests and raised a toast to this year’s honorees, recognizing their leadership, accomplishments, and continued impact on the region.
Take a look at some of our favorite moments from the celebration below! The full gallery can be viewed here.
