Actor Jon Bernthal, perhaps best known for his roles as Marvel’s Frank Castle/The Punisher, Shane Walsh in The Walking Dead, and most recently, Michael Berzatto in The Bear, reportedly just purchased a 10,480-square-foot, $3.75 million home in Chevy Chase, DC with a wrap-around porch and three wood-burning fireplaces.

While Hollywood stars rarely plant roots in the nation’s capital, this particular move isn’t completely out of the blue—Bernthal was raised in Montgomery County (Cabin John, to be exact) and attended Sidwell Friends. This summer, he was spotted at Washington Commanders training camp, and, as Axios points out, he also was recently seen at a Washington Wizards game and dining at Filomena in Georgetown.

Bernthal reportedly met his wife, Erin Angle, at a party in DC while she was working as a nurse at Georgetown University Hospital. The pair wed in Potomac in 2010 and have three children.
