If (vintage) wedding bells are in your future, you won’t want to miss this shopping event. Vintage Vintage Vintage DC’s Something Old: A Vintage Bridal Show will pop up in DC on Saturday, March 7 at The Square (1850 K St., NW, 5th Floor).

Something Old, the largest vintage bridal market in the country, was started by Vintage Vintage Vintage co-owners Libby Rasmussen and Rajni Rao. The show features expertly-sourced wedding pieces from the 1920s through the early 2000s, and according to Rasmussen, possibly dating back to the late 1800s.

Shoppers will find a collection of gowns from sizes 0 to 12, and other wedding attire in sizes 0 to 24, as well as heirloom jewelry pieces and accessories.

While tickets will be available at the door, Vintage Vintage Vintage encourages attendees to purchase tickets in advance on their website to skip the line.

Ticket prices start at $60 for early access from 9 to 11 AM, and decrease for later time slots. The last available entry time is 3:30 PM, with tickets sold for $15. Free parking will be available for the first three hours. Rasmussen highly recommends brides who are serious about finding a wedding dress sign up for early access.

Brides-to-be and vintage lovers alike are welcome at this event. According to Rasmussen, the show will host more than 30 vendors from across the country, including vintage curators, designers, and florists, plus cafe owners selling coffee and matcha. On-site seamstresses will also be present to offer advice on alterations.

“Even if you’ve already gotten married, if you have a love and appreciation for beautiful, romantic vintage pieces, this is such a special place,” Rasmussen says. “I got married last May and I still shop the event like crazy.”
