19 Advent Calendars for Grownups That Will Have You Counting Down the Days This December

Popping open a little cardboard window for a piece of generic chocolate is a beloved way for small kids to count down the days before Christmas—but it’s a tradition most generally grow out of. These days though, more brands are drawing adults back to the advent calendar concept with 12- to 25-day decadent or otherwise adult-centric calendars for grownups to enjoy. From beauty products to fancy edible treats, here are TK advent calendars that will have you counting down the days in December.

Drinks and Edible Treats

Adiago Teas

The Adiago tea advent calendar “Nutcracker” is back for 2026, and includes a collection of 24 different teas, each an individual serving for an eight-ounce pot, available in both loose, teabag, and decaf options. $34 at Adiago.com

 

Atlas Brew Works

One of DC’s favorite breweries annually offers an Atlas Beer Advent Calendar Box—a mix of 12 beers including the brewery’s core beers, seasonal releases, and other fan favorites, plus some duplicates mixed in—in a countdown-style box. At press time, the details for 2026 weren’t ready, but check back for updates. Last year, the box became available for pickup beginning November 30. $90 at Atlas Brew Works.

 

 

Paste & Rind

Details are still to come for the 2026 edition, but last year this H Street wine bar and cheese shop offered two holiday cheese collections: the 12 Days of Cheesemas, and the 8 Cheeses of Hannukah, each featuring a range of cheeses. Details for this year’s box(es) will be anounced soon,  at Paste & Rind Cheese Co.

Brookland Fine Wine & Spirits

This “Tasty Wine Advent Calendar” includes nine wines in 12 cans, and at press time, was available for $19 at Brookland Fine Wine & Spirits.

 

 

Harry & David


Back for 2026, the “Limited Edition 24 Days of Treats Advent Calendar” advent calendar holds 24 of the brand’s sweet treats, from milk chocolate truffles and mints, to shortbread cookies, and more. It’s available to ship beginning October 12. $180 at HarryandDavid.com.

 

 

Sugarfina

Among the brand’s many advent offerings—including an “8 Nights of Delight” candy tasting collection, this 2026 “Santa’s Parisian Christmas” candy advent calendar includes 24 days’ of artisanal candies, and more. $60 for one, $110 for two, $165 for three, and $240 for four at Sugarfina.com.

Total Wine

Bethesda-based Total Wine’s 2026 wine advent calendar features a sampling of two dozen single-servings wine.  $90 at TotalWine.com.

 

Williams Sonoma


Among their many advent offerings old and new, new and exclusive this year, Williams-Sonoma has an Elf-themed calendar with 12 movie-inspired goodies including maple syrup and a Mr. Narwhal sugar cookie. $40 at Williams-Sonoma.com.

Capital Candy Jar

Coming soon, this local chocolate shop will bring back its advent calendars for the season. Last year’s offerings included 24-piece Christmas Cheer- and Winter Wonderland-themed advent calendars, each including a variety of the dark- and milk-chocolate truffles. $61 at CapitalCandyJar.com

Delicious Food Delivered

This advent calendar company makes a “Mid-Atlantic” version with 24 regionally sourced treats. Its 2026 edition includes a variety of hyper-local goodies, including a small batch of Maryland-based Mouth Party Caramels, and cranberry orange granola made in DC. $169 at DeliciousFoodDelivered.com.

 

Godiva

In a box reminiscent of traditional chocolate advent calendars, Godiva’s “2026 Holiday Chocolate Advent Calendar” includes an assortment of 24 milk, dark, and white holiday chocolates. $58 at Godiva.

 

Beauty

Bloomingdale’s


This 25-day luxury-beauty-centric advent calendar from Bloomingdale’s claims to be an $1,215 value, and includes products from such brands as La Mer, Jo Malone, Elemis, Shiseido, and Brunello Cucinelli. $325 at Bloomingdale’s, and available locally at the Wisconsin Place, Chevy Chase location.

 

Charlotte Tilbury


Charlotte Tilbury’s 2026 “Hollywood Beauty Wonderland”  beauty holiday advent calendar includes 15 makeup and skincare products—4 are full sized, plus there’s a mini charm makeup bag. $220 at CharlotteTilbury.com. 

 

 

Dior


The 2026 “Le 30 Montaigne Dior Beauty Advent Calendar” is inspired by the brand’s historic boutique at 30 Avenue Montaigne, and includes 24 products spanning fragrance, makeup, and skincare miniatures—plus a candle. There’s currently a waitlist, and for reference, the 2024 version was $750 at Dior.com. 

 

Olive & June

For 2026, Olive & June has already sold out its Hanukkah-themed “8 Nights of Mani Magic” advent calendar (join the waitlist if you’d like). Meanwhile, two other versions: the “12 Days of Mani Magic” with all full-sized polishes and the “Pressies 12 Days of Mani Magic” designed specifically for kids and tweens, are available for preorder. $60 and $50, respectively, at Oliveandjune.com.
