8 Comedians Bringing Laughter to the DC Area This Fall

Take some time to laugh at a local comedy show this fall. Several celebrity comics are coming to the DC area, and tickets are selling fast. Here’s a list of top acts to add to your calendar so you don’t miss the fun.

1. Josh Johnson 

DAR Constitution Hall | October 2-3

The Daily Show TV host Josh Johnson brings his late-night satire to DAR Constitution Hall for four back-to-back standup performances ($120).

2. Jerry Seinfeld 

Anthem | October 23

Tickets are going fast to laugh out loud with mega comic and TV producer Jerry Seinfeld at the Wharf’s waterfront venue. The first two shows have sold out, but there’s still time for fans of the longtime entertainer to snag a spot at the third show ($93+).

3. Aziz Ansari 

Warner Theatre | October 22

Parks and Recreation star Aziz Ansari arrives in DC on his Hypothetical Tour featuring a standup show with all new material ($59+).

4. Atsuko Okatsuka

Warner Theatre| October 23-24

Taiwanese Japanese American comedian Atsuko Okatsuka has a popular multi-city tour named after her famed hairstyle. The Big Bowl Tour makes its way to Warner Theatre this fall where Okatsuka’s storytelling unpacks family dynamics, immigrant experiences, and adulting ($53+).

5. Matteo Lane

Warner Theatre | November 14

If you like to share laughs with friends while catching up over brunch, you’ll love Matteo Lane’s comedy style. The sharp-witted comic brings his unfiltered, personal storytelling to the Warner Theatre for an evening of standup ($53+).

6. Ilana Glazer

Lincoln Theatre | November 20

Actor, podcast host, and grassroots organizer Ilana Glazer’s latest standup hour peeks into the comedian’s inner thoughts on politics, the challenges of motherhood, and navigating life as a millennial ($40+).

7. Brett Goldstein

Anthem | December 4

Admirers of hilarious TV show Ted Lasso can catch Brett Goldstein deliver quips off the big screen and live at the Anthem ($413+).

8. Seth Meyers

DAR Constitution Hall | December 11

After performing several sold-out standup sets at the Kennedy Center in 2024, Late Night show host and Emmy Award-winning comedian Seth Meyers returns to DC this December to have crowds rolling into the aisles with laughter ($53+).
