It’s going to be a busy fall at Chinatown’s Capital One Arena (601 F St., NW): hockey season is around the corner, pop stars like Olivia Rodrigo and Charli XCX are lined up for concerts, and the Mystics are preparing for their first playoff round. Plus, the arena has finished two thirds of its three-year renovation, which is slated for completion at the end of 2027. Here’s a look at new food and beverage options—up and running starting Friday, October 2—along with some returning favorites.
New in 2026

Luke’s Lobster (Section 103)
Expect Maine-style lobster and crab rolls at Luke’s, a chain with more than 30 “shacks” across the United States and Asia (including a location just a block away).
Joia Burger (Section 105)
The Mount Pleasant/Glover Park smashburger sensation from Purple Patch chef/owner Patrice Cleary makes its arena debut. Wagyu patties are topped with a chopped-up mix of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles in special sauce, and fries are finished the same way.
For Five Coffee Roasters (Section 118)
This national cafe chain helmed by the team behind Dupont Circle Greek restaurant Balos will serve coffee drinks and a rotating selection of desserts.
Don Churro (Section 216)
This offshoot of a local food truck specializes in sugary Mexican churros and churro bites, served plain or with fillings such as chocolate, dulce de leche, and sweetened condensed milk.
Prime 850 (Section 216)
Celebrity butcher Pat LaFrieda is behind the offerings at this booth, which include classic burgers and cheesesteaks with caramelized onions on crusty bread.
Capital BBQ (Section 432)
Aramark’s barbecue concept will sell Texas-style brisket sandwiches with sweet, sticky sauce and thick-cut pickle slices on buttered rolls.
Returning Bites

Balos Estiatorio (Section 120)
Dupont’s espresso-martini-fueled Greek hotspot dishes out chicken souvlaki skewers and pita wraps topped with garlicky tzatziki.
Fuku (Section 117)
Fried chicken sandwiches and tasty tenders are the thing at David Chang’s Momofuku spinoff.
Rita’s Italian Ice (Sections 107, 118, 421, and 429)
Find these Italian ice stands across the arena. The national chain serves some of its most popular flavors, such as mango and blueberry.
Soko Butcher (Section 417)
This beloved Takoma Park-born butcher/sandwich shop brings hot pastrami sandwiches smothered in onions, along with Philly cheesesteaks.
Premium Options in Suites and Vaults

There are several new food and beverage options for suites, too. On the ground floor, eligible season ticket holders can catch the arena action from the LG Collective, a bar/lounge that serves rotating plates like lamb chops with cabernet and pesto cream or grilled octopus in pineapple-basil sauce. The wrap-around bar slings mimosas and blackberry mocktails, among other things.
The new Founders, Executive, and Innovation Suites offer a la carte dishes like Cantonese shrimp toast; smoked gouda macaroni and cheese; miso-glazed sea bass; and caviar “Twinkies.”
And the top-of-the-line “Lexus Vaults” are a series of private suites, each with an open bar and a serving station of unlimited eats (think watermelon-and-tuna ceviche and wagyu au poivre). A chef-residency program will bring in a rotation of menu items from DC restaurants like Unconventional Diner, Maru San, Thip Khao, and Cana.
