On August 18, “Dancing With the Stars” champion and actress Julianne Hough announced on Instagram that she is engaged to Washington Caps center Brooks Laich. The sweet photo was captioned, “We are overwhelmed with joy and excitement to share with you our recent engagement! #fiancé #love.”
It’s too soon to say whether Laich, 32, and Hough, 27, will wed in Washington. But if Hough follows the example of her friend Courtney Parrie, who recently married Caps defenseman Mike Green at a farm in Canada, where Green is from, then Washingtonians can be on the lookout for another wedding across the boarder, this time for Canadian-born Laich.
No matter where it takes place, it’s safe to say this very photogenic couple’s nuptials will be gorgeous and their first dance a “ten.”
