This popular hangout isn’t just a great spot for coffee and
pastries—beginning at 5 pm Monday through Saturday, its upstairs wine bar
draws an eclectic mix of college students and families mingling to the
tunes of Ray LaMontagne and Bon Iver. Sommelier Charlotte Devilliers
offers a wide selection of wine by the glass and bottle and is well versed
in the house-made and artisanal cheese and meat menus. Beer director David
McGregor (also of Liberty Tavern and Lyon Hall) hand-selects a roster of
63 beers. Insider tip: A recently debuted happy hour includes $5 specials
in the wine bar Monday through Saturday from 5 to 7. Downstairs open
