Washington's fashion folks fight hard to bring style credibility to this city, but when your biggest fashion event (DC Fashion Week, we're looking at you) is almost always a disorganized flop, it can get hard to keep the faith. So thank goodness for Fashion: District. Now in it's third rendition, ReadySetDC's runway show/pop-up shop event (held last night at Longview Gallery) featured the wares of some of DC's most prominent independent designers, including Ginger Root Design, Hugh & Crye, DURKL, Derringer Friday, and Artaya.
As expected though, some of the best looks of the night came not from the runway, but straight from the audience. Click here for 23 of our favorite outfits, then let us know whose ensemble you're feelin' the most in the comments below!
