Dr. Asmaa Chaudhry founded Stone Ridge Dermatology in 2020 in an effort to stay private and to keep the doctor- patient relationship free from special interests. Dr. Chaudhry, a Georgia native, moved to Virginia in 2006 after earning her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University for her internship in internal medicine prior to completing her dermatology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School.

Dr. Chaudhry is a skilled and prolific scientific author, with publications in top peer-reviewed dermatology journals—she has received accolades for her research. She practices general, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Chaudhry strives to put all patients at ease and enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion for skincare with her patients and on Instagram @derm_mom_tologist. She has been practicing in Northern Virginia for the last thirteen years and has enjoyed all aspects of sharing her expertise with the community she serves. She believes in evidence-based medicine, community engagement, and physician led healthcare without the influence and special interests of corporate entities. A mother of three who is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, & Punjabi, Dr. Chaudhry is honored to live, work, and volunteer in the community she serves.
