Dr. Philip Gentry, a Fellow of The Academy of General Dentistry, graduated “Summa Cum Laude” from Georgetown University School of Dentistry, and teaches on faculty in The Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at The University of Maryland Dental School. Dr. Philip Gentry and Dr. Jeanette Coutin-Gentry, opened Caring Dentists 35 years ago in Arlington, Virginia, and have been creating beautiful smiles since 1989. Dr. Lizz Gentry, a University of Maryland Dental School graduate, who completed an advanced dental training residency at The Washington, DC Veterans Hospital joined the Caring Dentists family practice 5 years ago.

Dr. Gentry is a member of the American Dental Association, The Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, Maryland State Dental Association, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and is a Fellow of The Academy of General Dentistry. He has been consistently voted One of The Washington D.C. Area’s Top Dentists by Washingtonian Magazine, voted a top dentist in Virginia by Virginia Living Magazine, and voted a Top Dentist by both Northern Virginia and Arlington Magazines. He is listed in The Guide to America’s Top Dentists.

At The University of Maryland, Dr. Gentry works closely with other well-known dental educators, dental students and residents.
