Ready to sashay into Season 18 of RuPaul’s Drag Race? Whether you’re rooting for a favorite queen or just here for the shade, these DC bars are hosting free watch parties every Friday with hosts, specials, and big screens. 

Trade

1410 14th St., NW

Watch RuPaul’s 14 new queens compete at this watch party featuring a drag-filled pre-show hosted by JaxKnife Complex and Evry Pleasure. Festivities kick off at 7 PM, with the episode screening at 8 PM. Expect a format that’s part talk show, part game show. Arrive early for seating and tables.

 

Nellie’s Sports Bar

900 U St., NW

Nellie’s skips the hosted programming in favor of a relaxed viewing experience. Food and drink specials include $6 house cocktails and $15 buckets of domestic beer until 10 PM. Catch the episode on the large projector screen starting at 7:30 PM, then stick around for the subsequent dance party.

 

Number Nine

Find fellow fans in Logan Circle at 8 PM. Local pageant winner Shenandoah teams up with Drag Race icon Tatianna to host a trivia-style watch party that will test your knowledge of the queendom.

 

Pitchers

The gay sports bar in Adams Morgan keeps things simple with a screening at 8 PM. Episodes are played across 14 televisions. 

 

A League of Her Own

Next door to Pitchers, queer women’s bar A League of Her Own also hosts a watch party at 8 PM with multiple screens.

 

Spark Social House

2009 14th St., NW

Hosted by DC drag family TrevHER and Grey, Spark offers an outdoor and sober-friendly way to watch. Episodes are streamed on the patio at 8 PM, followed by live performances and games such as Family Feud.

 

Kiki

915 U St., NW

In need of a high-energy night packed with performances? Kiki’s 8 PM watch party is hosted by Drag Race alum and lip-sync assassin Jasmine Kennedie alongside local icon Crimsyn, Season 1 winner of Painted with Raven. Stay after the episode for SERVE, a showcase featuring the hosts and DC-area queens.

 

Uproar Lounge & Restaurant

The Shaw bar dedicated to the bear community hosts weekly viewings at 8 PM. 

 

JR’s Bar

1519 17th St., NW

Citrine the Queen hosts a watch party at 8 PM, followed by a behind-the-scenes episode of Untucked: RuPaul’s Drag Race. After Untucked, stick around for Vitamin C, a live show with drag performances and DJs. Limited tables and seating are available upstairs. 

 

As You Are

Watch episodes in the downstairs cafe area at 8 PM, and a dance party takes place after the show.

 

Her Diner

The watch party kicks off at 8 PM in the Adams Morgan diner and bar. Hosts Mia Vanderbilt and Indiana Bones perform throughout the episode. 

 

Red Bear Brewing

Head to the NoMa brewery at 8 PM for live commentary and performances throughout the night from Tiffany D. Carter, Druex Sidora, and Frieda Poussáy.
