10 Outdoor Ice Skating Rinks Around DC

Canal Park

Lace up your skates to glide around the curvy ice rink in Navy Yard. Tickets are $13 for adults, and $11 for children, students, and seniors. Skate rentals are $7. Open through early March 2026. 

 

Color Burst Park

Starting in January, a DJ turns this downtown Columbia rink into a family-friendly rave on select nights. Tickets start at $12, and skate rentals are $3. Open through January 31, 2026. 

 

Harris Pavilion

location_on 9201 Center St., Manassas

Skate in historic downtown Manassas, where the ice rink has a canopy to protect from rain and snow. Skating is $8 for children and $10 for adults, plus $7 for skate rentals. Open through January 4, 2026.

 

Ice and Lights at Cameron Run

This rink in Alexandria is surrounded by dazzling light displays. Admission to the Winter Village of Lights and the ice rink is $21.50 after 5 PM. Daytime skating starts at $13.50. Skating and winter village open through December 30, 2025, daytime skating open through February 28, 2026. 

 

National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden

Partake in a quintessentially Washington tradition at the Sculpture Garden rink. Tickets are $15 for those ages 13 and up and $12 for children, military, students, and seniors. Skate rentals are $7. Open through March 1, 2026.

The Wharf
