Mimi Ansari met her prince charming Biz Nabily in a story of Shakespearean complexity. Biz first caught sight of MiMi at a masquerade ball. Her eyes captivated him, though she was wearing a mask. Nearly two years later, Biz proposed in an elaborate ceremony at the Willard. “He has been the puzzle piece I have been missing my entire life,” says MiMi.
For her bridal shower at Trump National Golf Club, MiMi decided to go with a pastel-themed tea party in which her maid-of-honor sister Giselle, her family, and her friends all wore proper hats and then competed in a playful toilet-paper dress making contest. The spread included small bites like sliced tarragon spiced chicken with cantaloupe and cucumber tea sandwiches and beef sliders on onion brioche, and along with a range of pink and pastel-hued sweets (Ladurée chocolates were plentiful!)
