Pardon the late notice, but we just found out that nerdy-cool New York Times writers and Southern food gurus Matt Lee and Ted Lee will be signing their new The Lee Bros. Southern Cookbook at Whole Foods today. The book is a lot of fun–it's got recipes for Cheerwine cocktails, boiled peanuts, and porkless collards, which they call "sneaky." And this afternoon, right around happy hour time, you can get a taste of it–they'll be making and passing out such dishes as pimiento cheese spread and crab dip. Beats 25-cent wings any day.
