After months (and months and months and months) of press buildup, the much anticipated Target + Neiman Marcus holiday collaboration is finally going to be available for purchase. In case you don’t follow fashion media at all, but somehow found your way to our little ol’ Shop Around (thanks for that), here’s a refresher on what that is exactly:
Discount retailer Target and luxury retailer Neiman Marcus teamed up to convince 24 of America’s best fashion designers to create one-of-a-kind clothes and gifts. So now you’ve got bikes designed by Alice + Olivia, children’s dresses by Marchesa, Diane von Furstenberg yoga mats, and so. Much. More.
If you don’t want to shop online, the wares will be available at the Friendship Heights AND Tysons Galleria Neiman Marcus, where we imagine hope the shopping will be a little bit more civilized. Though we have not called all the Target stores in the metro area, we were pleasantly surprised to find that, for once, it looks like Washington will not be overlooked: Columbia Heights, Reston, Alexandria, and Rockville locations all confirmed they will carry the line, and one employee told us she believes all Target stores will be carrying it.
