Washington artist Suzanne Brennan Firstenberg created a massive installation of white flags to mourn the increasing number of Americans who have died from Covid-19. For “IN AMERICA How Could This Happen…” Firstenberg encourages visitors to plant flags in honor of their lost loved ones (they can write names on the flags as well). The art installation was originally scheduled to be up at RFK Stadium through November 6 but has been extended through the end of November.
